FAQ
Everything visitors ask before installing.
Does OfferStack work with the free plan on variable products?
No. The free plan supports WooCommerce simple products only. Variable product quantity offers are part of OfferStack Pro.
Will OfferStack slow my product page?
No. The Reward Bar and offer blocks are server-side rendered for the initial paint, and AJAX is only used for add-to-cart and variation switching.
Does it work with my theme?
OfferStack is built against the standard WooCommerce single-product hooks and works with Storefront, Astra, Kadence, Flatsome, Blocksy, Avada, and most modern WooCommerce themes. If a theme breaks the standard hooks, our docs cover the override.
Can I run a Buy-2-Get-1-Free offer?
Yes — that’s exactly what the BxGy engine is for, in OfferStack Pro. The free gift can be the same product or a different one.
Does the cart and checkout respect my tiered prices?
Yes. OfferStack writes the tier-aware price into the cart line item, so checkout, taxes, and order totals all reflect the offer the shopper picked.
What’s the difference between an offer card and a reward bar?
An offer card is a quantity tier on the product page (Buy 3, Save 10%). A reward bar is a progress-to-unlock element above or below the offers (Spend $200 for free shipping). They work great together.
Is there a free trial of Pro?
Yes — 14 days, no credit card required to start. You can begin the trial from the License & Subscription page in the plugin admin.
Will OfferStack conflict with other discount plugins?
OfferStack is the price authority on products where you’ve enabled quantity blocks. Running it alongside another product-page discount plugin on the same product is not supported. It’s safe alongside coupon plugins.
Does OfferStack work with Variation Swatches plugins?
No. Variation Swatches plugins are explicitly incompatible — they hijack the variation flow OfferStack relies on. Our docs explain the alternatives.
What happens to my offers if I deactivate the plugin?
Your offer configuration is preserved in the database. Reactivating restores all tiers, design settings, and Min/Max rules exactly as you had them.
